I was reading 'Knicks Trade Rumors: The deal that makes sense for NYK and Portland' on NY Basketball for iOS and I thought you might be interested in reading it too.

While I can still hope for Isaac or Tatum realistically if we end up with Monk, Harkless, Terry Ferguson and Evan Turner (for 44, Lee OQuinn and Thomas) I'll grab it. It's a younger profile, we become more athletic and if Ferguson ain't your cup of tea, maybe Kennard or Frank N falls. Question of the day is D Smith is gone at 5 and if Lauri M is bound for Timberwolves or if it's smoke.

Sorry don't like any trade that doesn't put us in a position to draft Issac. Giving up Lee, O'Quinn and Thomas for a pick that doesn't get us Issac isn't a good trade. We lost to much chemistry beside none of these are very old.

Isaac is very talented and a good get, but his ceiling is already where KP is now.
I don't see the huge incentive for the Knicks to get Isaac, as good or as talented as he is.

Knicks really need a guard back. That's where they are lacking in talent.

Issac is my #1 player to draft, Period!!
That doesn't mean I don't like Frank N. but if we are trading the 1st priority is to get higher to draft Issac. I don't see a great need at PG if we can get Issac. We still have Rose(maybe) and the kid Randle. All IMO.

The rebuild is a process and given the ages of # 8, Billy and KP, I'm fine w it. Whoever 8 is our rotation needs plenty of work. Whether Harkless and Ferguson or Juwan Evans, or one of 20 players discussed, the talent, speed and athleticism need serious upgrade. Don't get me wrong, I like Baker And Randle fine but think about what Boston and Phili are up to and ask if in 3 year sure you're gonna compete without top 15 talent, Or top 20 aleepers.

We have needed a pg for 40 yrs +. Issac doesnt solve that problem. This is a pg rich draft . We need to find our pg of the future here. If somehow Phil likes Issac and he falls to us we still need to find a pg.
