exactly, and there's still mutual interest, so there maybe a part 2
Rose used to dish more so this is BULLSHYTE!!! 2015 had 5.0 FGA's to Pau and 2.9 to Butler. 2016 had 3.8 FGA's to Pau and 3.4 to Butler! While not great still better than with KP. If Rose actually did what he said he would there's no reason he couldn't have increased his dishes this year. Wasn't about court vision! SELFISH.
it's probably a combination of a lot of things
1)He's a scoring point guard
2)never played with KP
3)contract year
4)new to the triangle
5)he was brought here bcause of his ability to penetrate and finish
6)kp never demands the ball
7)was the coaching staff drilling him about those miss opportunities
8)pau and noah rolled to the basket, KP stands at the 3 point line, so familiarity played a role as well
Rose had no problem finding Melo from their first game together, often while being covered. Didn't expect them to have instant chemistry, but Rose was going well beyond getting too caught up in the game to notice KP.
Rose said before the season started that he wanted to get paid, was very upfront about it. Rose then went about chasing the stats he thought would get him there. Rose is already loaded, he wasn't playing for his first big deal. Thats why I didnt want him here, Rose had other ambitions.
Rose was talking about getting paid while he was in street clothes, and some of his Bulls teammates were in the hospital from playoff injuries. Too mercenary to trust to run the point.
