listening to his podcast
he is suggesting that kp's ppl are asking for rubio, makes the pablo for assistant coach thing look better.
trading clee and the number pick 8 for rubio and the number 7 pick, who just might be monk.
this makes a little sense but is tdee talking out of his ass like most reporters?

he likely is talking out of his butt. I wrote him off years ago because his "news" was just links to articles. no original content or value added. perhaps he's upped his game and has something to contribute now... but I don't view him as an actual reporter

great deal - but somehow, I would think we're just giving up the 8th pick, not moving up.

Rubio and #7 for Lee and #8 is a no brainier, why would the wolves do it though?

Its a curious trade but not sure why we'd flip picks? Some mocks have Minny going for Issac.
If we have Rubio, that would be a logical pick for us.
Im not that into Minny so I don't know what they need and fast they want it. Seems young teams need veteran leadership.

Would love Rubio for Lee straight up. Draft Monk with Rubio, KP, and Willy. Would be a fun group.

He has zero credibility and is a joke on the realgm forums- has been wrong on everything he's called for years now.

Don't know about credibility but his take on Phil vs. Melo is spot on.

Meh! He's not much different than most at getting scoops. Woj has the best inside info but most everyone else has a low hit rate. Doesn't mean Tommy is wrong on the Knicks interest in a Rubio deal.

sorry i'm in the downer camp. I am not a Rubio fan. We can do better in FA or in draft. There's a slew of new rookie pgs coming into league. And some second year players rising. Some vets will be displaced

What I would like to see is C Lee more aggressive on offense. He needs a hypnotist

If rose is not to return, Then Rubio is a good starting guard for the next few years. Perhaps drafting another position, or the best player available is a better way.
Few rookie PG's are able to transition bigly in their first year.
Lots of things will happen in a few weeks. Im not going to judge any moves as they sometimes cannot make sense until they accrue. By that, Melo leaves, we have a void at SF.
Both Jennings and Rose did not stick the season. We are again in need at PG. If we can get rubio, it allows a rookie time to ease in.

it would be hilarious to go from trading Rose for Rubio to trading Lee for Rubio. Instead of get a steal of a lifetime you circle around and use an asset you could have used for something else.

Also, if the Thibs is dumb enough to do that deal with a switch of picks you do it and select Isaac/Tatum/DSjr.

I'd have to say rubio would be awesome for KP,willy, and whoever we draft, Isaac or monk. resign d rose to come off the bench and we have a real team.

rubio,rose
monk,baker
tucker,Lance
Willy,Ndor
KP,O'quin,Noah

the reason I put Ndor in there is i really like what he brings on D. but i know we also have two second round picks id like to become tredwell, and frank mason

how credible is tommy dee?
