Thomas got his front tooth knocked out and then hits a three lol... So Hortford is relentless inside causing all kinds of havoc with reflections and lose balls. Crawford is a rock out there playing defense and getting reflections. Bradley too... every player they put in play hard as hell

That's 4 of their top players playing like they are the last guy on the bench fighting for a spot on the roster... you can look no further than these guys when you talk about Celtic success... this is real leadership. Our top 4 guys? Melo, Rose... we don't even have 4 top guys. Rose and Melo do not play at the level of tenacity that the Celtics play. Our role players play harder then our leaders. That cant happen. That is exactly why we can't win.

Neither Rose and hopefully Melo won't be here next year. KP seems to play hard when he's healthy. There are a few players on the roster that play hard. We just need to keep keying in on players that are hard workers. Celtics are a prime example 12 guys playing hard as hell. If we had 5 on the roster right now that would be alot.

Just watching the way these teams go at it in the playoffs is eye opening! The Knicks definitely need an infusion of heart and passion. That's why I like kids like Baker and Holiday. They may not have great talent but they give max effort. If we can get more talented players with the FIGHT and DOG in them it's gonna make a huge difference.

That's why Dolan and zilion of tourists who sold out the Garden and making money for him are in our way.
They need to see exiting bbal with no defense and dead eye scorers like Melo and Rose exiting the crowd.
FIGHT and DOG did not collect cash our days.

The garden was sold out when we had Weatherspoon and shandon Anderson starting for us. That should never be in the mind of the owner of the Knicks. I think that was the case for years but not at the moment. We're I a good space of time right now for this rebuild

I think that's Phil's calculus now. He sees that the timing is right to spend more time and assets on youth development. They can play well enough to keep Fan interest. Especially when they could sell the fans on the 1st rd pick. If it's a Guard maybe they can excite the Guard loving NY Fans. No matter who we draft it tends to bring positive vibes.
