Fair evaluation. Imo

I think the biggest progress he showed is clear in his output. He's not afraid to create more shots on his own, he does not need to be assisted as much to score. He can create his own shot with much more ease than his rookie season. Now it is still not where it should be or could be, but already he is a pretty great 3rd option and could be a 2nd option for many teams. If he wants to be more he needs to stay healthier, get stronger in his post base and body, to be able to take more higher percentage shots closer to the basket. Need more time. Lets see if he can be either a #1, 2 or 3 in his career.

Then his defense, I think he just doesn't focus on his foul issues. He uses his hands too much, instead of his feet. It's not like he is slow. He can move. He lets his hands bail him out, and that can at times but others lead to fouls or easy blow bys. I want better effort and focus from him on defense next year.

I was very disappointed in KP his first few games this season. It looked like he was going to have the sophomore jinx. Then he went ham for a stint and then you were like YES!!! but then he cooled off again and just tapered off at the same player he was last year. He's got to take that leap and stay there.... I think going to Latvia and getting beat up in the European championships will give him that extra spice he needs to take with him throughout his career. At least that's my hope

KP has always been physically behind the curve. He's a slow developer in terms of filling out but he will get there. People have been so taken by his early success that they don't realize he's overachieving his projected development at this point. KP was supposed to be a 3-5 year project in terms of his physical development so he's ahead of schedule simply by his will and not because he's strong enough yet!!!

This is why KP gets nagging injuries. He's not strong enough but he has so much pride and desire that he pushes through. We're fortunate he hasn't been seriously injured!

When healthy this kid shows the talent. Skinny kid not able to play 75 games without being banged up to hell.
Im concerned. Im patient. Sky is the limit. By December the heel problem became evident.
