Dion Waiters us another guy in the same boat. He was putting up 18 and almost 5 assist with 40+% from 3 45% from the field for like 25 games down the stretch. We talked about him in the thread alot his blog. Both guys would be great pick ups.... but they would have to be in shape and focused. I see Miami retaining both.

No we need to run a championship organization like Miami where they focus on culture. James Johnson just went into the right culture and was given opportunity and he thrived. If we cant have the same culture--than every single manager should be let go and find a people who can.

Completely agree. This is the one thing that encourages me about this front office. They seem to have the ability to find these guys. Willy, Baker, Kuz, Holiday, and Randle are all under the radar guys they found who can be good rotation players.

He was just in Toronto... played in the playoffs and everything. His conditioning is what took him over the top... plus this championship organization is also a lotto team that over paid quite a few mediocre players and pushed out it's greatest player ever....

My point exactly. Anyway whatever. I agree with Nixluva anyway. Miami is probably going to retain Johnson and Waiters

I like what he brings--his defense toughness passing ball handling for size. Im thinking keep Hyle Oquinn as well. You cant have everyone who is 21. While we need an infusion of youth--sprinkle it in with vets that make sense--NOT Noah at 17mm???? This guy already plays the style of play we want.
