lavar ball is trying to get his kids , big baller brand off to a great start but Nike ,Under Amour, an Adidas all said heck no and dont want any part of Lonzo, who ppl are saying might go number one!!!!!!
think he is costing his kid draft points too?

Unfortunately its a case of a parent looking out more for his own best interest and not that of his son. They all said no because Lavar was looking for a partnership model and not straight endorsement. He wanted his own company to profit as well. Just cant appreciate anyone trying to make money of their kid.
If he would have left things alone, Lonzo would already have a high paying endorsement.

Yeah I peeped that.... the guy is an embarrassment. Why can't he just let his kids do their thing and once they get it, then talk your stuff. Hopefully this is a lesson to him and he falls back... you know that's not gonna happen

This is too bad for Lonzo. His father should allow him to get his endorsement deal, and push his brand separately. Putting then as a package deal is very unfortunate for Lonzo. It is taking a lot of money out of his pocket.

Feel bad for his kid(s).

He's making it all about him... taking away from Lonzo's shining moment, and it's very sad.

Ok I the second look.... there are quite a few brands out that might invest. BRAND BLACK were making Jamal Crawford sneakers that we're actually soon of the best basketball shoes on the planet. He left the company... ado they need nba stars to pitch to. There's also the China sneaker companies. Klay Thompson is sponsored by one and his sneaks are also one of the best in the market.... there are plenty of options. To use the example, plenty if hip hop artist have done the same thing to brand themselves. It would be ground breaking if the Ball family did that. Last player to do that was Jordan with Nike. Now Brand Jordan is just as big if not bigger than Nike.

agreed but;lonzo sits there quietly hanging his head while his father talks in some interviews( i think it was an espn one). i remember kobe saying the court was the only refuge he had from the world imagine if he had that kind on father intruding on his refuge?
i keep thinking todd marinovich when i think of him, hope he doesnt go that way

This guy is a trip. He has a point. If he wants to do his own thing, thats fine, but he wants someone to foot the bill as well.
He can put up the money. its all good until he bankrupts the kids trying to build his pimp kingdom off his kids backs.

Does anyone think one day we'll have "LaMelo Ball" as a knick?
