Phil needs that Jerry West moment. Find a way to land Ferguson or Diallo.

These types of athletes dont come around every day and I like thats hes from NY. Less pressure on him and the Knicks to jump out of the box from day 1 but would bring excitement. If we can get two prospects for the price of 1--unless we arent pick 1-2-3 it might be best for the team. RIP Crushalot😞

No way do you move down, out of the top 7 to draft this guy. You are giving up a potential star for a huge question mark. It would be great to pick someone at 7 and then try to move up from our 2 2nd rnd picks to nab this guy in the late 1st or early 2nd round. He is so raw he isn't even steak tartare

Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years.
First Leon move I hate

I'm hoping and praying that Phil can get another 1st or early 2nd. The problem is I don't see any great prospects for getting one. Teams just aren't looking to give them up.

I'm down to trade down if possible.... i really don't want Dennis Smith for the Knicks as Malik Monk ous ok but he doesn't jump out at me as a guy that's going to help right away. I have no interest in anybody else until Terence Ferguson and Bacon name pops up on the mocks. So trading down would be nice or if we could flip a player for a lower draft pick. That is far fetched because if we can sit here and pull names out the hat like this other teams see it too....

I trust our scouts to take a real hard look at the draft field and not pay attention to the Mocks. The workouts will also be important for them. This year is gonna be insane since they have 3 picks.

If the Gaines and the scouts think this kid is it... I'd be down.
The Knicks should leave no stone unturned here. Don't fall into the trap of picking a guy who is slotted at 6/7/8 just because our first choice is off the board. That's how we wound up with Jordan Hill in a draft where DeMar DeRozan and Jrue Holiday were on the board. ¿ △ ?

I'd like to get him, or someone like him if we can get a second first round pick. I'm getting my PG at 7, or trading down if they PG's are gone.

Now that I think about it... I would draft this kid at #7. Research has to be done and workouts have to be conducted, but the skill and Talent is there. It's a worthy gamble... knicks aren't trying to win now anyway. The potential is incredible with this kid.

I'm a Nigel Williams goss fan so if he's there in the second round when we pick that would be fine with me. Dude is a doc rivers type of point guard... a Avery Johnson, maybe even Sam cassell... savy player.

Just because a mock draft says this guy is going 6 or 5 or whatever doenst make it so. KP was a no brainer at 4--but do we have a no brainer if we stick at 7? Right now Im shopping around. Im looking to increase my athletic ability so I can play better defense but I still want my upside on offense. Elite athletes tend to make the better defenders--not always but they have more tools. I wonder if we can get more value if we do indeed make a move with Portland and go 7 +57 for 15-20-26 RIP Crushalot😞

We have Melo, KOQ and C.Lee that if the right team was interested in any of the 3 could get us a mid to late 1st round pick. I think C.Lee is underestimated with what he could bring to a team that's already good. He plays both sides of the ball and can shoot the rock. KOQ impressed the heck out of me this year and showed he can be a really good big man 1st off the bench for the 4 or 5 spot. |

I think he would be a nice fit in the triangle as a guy who can spot you minutes at both backcourt slots. I'd be down to take him Goss as a second round pick. Stash him in the D-League and see how he develops. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

I don't recall even doing research on him because I never considered that Hill might be on our radar. What a terrible pick Hill was. Jrue Holiday or Darren Collison would've been decent options. They had to have a scenario where they might trade down if Curry was off the board. That's what I'd like this year - plan A is we get our guy at 7. If Plan A is off the board, you have to have a contingency plan B to trade down imho. ¿ △ ?
