With the 30 mil name the players he should have signed who were available and willing to sign over the last 2 years. Who fit what your looking for and would have put this team in the direction you favor.

Melo should go exactly as Phil explained it.... the Knicks arent going to win in the near future. We're rebuilding through youth. That's why Melo should go.

Melo isn't a scapegoat... he's about to be 33... If he was 27 it would be a different story. He is not. That's pretty much it...

The Knicks will be getting younger. There's no way around it. They aren't a top landing spot for Vets looking to win now and they will be adding younger players thru the draft and likely FA's as well. I doubt they will be adding any over 30 players this summer. I think the team has enough Vet presence for now.
