Steph looks better today against Greece. I love the way he's more aggresive, getting into the lane, and getting the team out in transition. His defensive intensity looks pretty good and I like how he's trying to get above every screen. However, I think they would be better suited for him to go under and have a big man step out unless Marbury is in good pressure position and can get over the pick without getting clipped.

He's also got to start crashing the boards on the offensive and defensive glass to become as good as he should be. He doesn't crash the boards, especially on offense.

I think these games will help Marbury so much during the regular season. He'll be in midseason form and is learning from the best coaches and best players in the league. He should be a better defender, better rebounder, and overall better team player. I really think he'll be the best point guard in the league next year and will carry the Knicks in the playoffs. The addition of Crawford is huge so Marbury only has to play 30 to 35 mins a night so he'll be fresh all season.

Hopefully he isn't just tired out from the games.

marbury looked very sloppy with the ball early in the first, but he did have a nice lefty finger roll late in the fouth.

His passing was great today. He had a lot of assists and a lot of good passes that led to passes that led to points.

If he is tired, the Knicks can run Crawford at point or Penny at point and be almost as effective, that's why it's great to have Crawford manning the point.

Marbury looked fantastic today, I really laugh, at this point it's absurd, when people say the US team doesn't have a true PG. Marbury had THE MOST ASSISTS IN THE NBA and takes a shot or two a game, are these people not watching? Whenever he's in he's looked like a true PG, not looking to score, just driving and dishing. Why do people just overlook this and pine for Jason Kidd. Get over it, Marbury's there and he's a freaking point guard, enough, the annoucners and idiots at ESPN (Ford) just insist he's in Iverson's league and that he shoots a lot. Unreal.

I have had some epic Lunch time and coffee break arguments about this same thing. WTF do u mean team USA has no PG? Just cause Marbury scores and passes doesn't mean he is not a true PG? He can pass first and still score 20ppg. The problem is he hasn't had that many chances of having someone to pass to. I am totally with u Smooth.
