Again, USA had a shot at breaking the game open with some nice transition baskets but a couple of stupid plays by Boozer and other players have allowed Greece to get back in the game. End of the 3rd quarter, USA by 4.

The amazing thing is we Knick fans would dream to have Duncan, Iverson, Lebron, Jefferson etc. to play alongside Marbury in NY.
But it just doesn't seem to work!

If Marbury wasnt forcing the few shots that he does take he would be having a better overall game but its still his assists that are helping keep USA competitive.

we need boozer and RJ and Wade. We arent winning playing Marbury/Duncan/Iverson for 45 minutes... at least not the gold.

I disagree Panos, if we had those players in the NBA with a full training camp i think we would easily win a title every single year but international play is different

I think he forced two shots, but everyone's been forcing some bad shots. Marbury's running the offense great and has a lot of assists and I think 5 pts

USA up by 8 because of some very good defense by Lamar Odom. USA playing well in transition but still making some poor decisions.
