i agree. His deal with the kicker is almost not moveable. I also don't expect Phil to get much back in trades. Especially when he has expressed his desire to move the player and criticized him in the media.
I don't think he's unmovable. I think some GM and owner combo is going to think that a trade would reinvigorate Melo. That said, I'm not expecting much in terms of assets. If we could get a guy best suited as the fifth-best starter or a sixth man and a pick, that would be tremendous. We're definitely not getting the best player in the deal back, unless the draft pick turns out way better than anticiapted
and Doc Rivers literally said they would have accepted "any" of the proposed trades that were circulating around the media. If you could find another team to take Crawford Knicks could (at worst) make the Austin Rivers trade and get an extra $15mm or so in cap space.
