Lavar's antics is just making Lonzo a stronger person which would prepare him well for the Knicks.

This guy is an idiot. He's most likely not even 100% African, since most African Americans have some European ancestry due to all the raping during Slavery. AA's in general have between 11.6 and 27.7% European DNA. Why this guy has to keep opening his mouth before his kids secure NBA jobs is baffling. He needs to just shut up already.

Haha...I've been telling you guys Lonzo is too slow. I guess that's one thing his dad and I agree on lol... Seriously tho...Can you imagine Lavar around the tabloids here? TMZ? He needs to step back.

I think these comments by Lavar was the last straw.... this guy is a complete douchebag. He thinks he knows what he's doing but he really has no idea. Shame cuz his sons are really good basketball players. Their father is going to ruin their careers before they start

Horrible horrible horrible.

I dont have to state it to clearly--it doesnt matter what race you are--direct attacks like that doesn't make anyone happy. Well Im not holding it against his son for a second but I think he just lost a lot of money in endorsements.

The honest part is Fox used his jets to go by Ball several times.

Lavar doesn't realize that the majority of the fan base for his son will be WHITE KIDS?!?!? WTF is he thinking? Whoever is tagged to be Lonzo's agent needs to hold a mafia-style sit down with Lavar ASAP, or he's gonna ruin the Ball brand before it even gets going.

There are plenty of slow black players and plenty of quick white players.

MSG must have more than one channel? So why not broadcast a the game on one, but on another, mike him up and have him sit with different personalities for each game. Say, one nite with Spike? Another, Louis CK, Tracy morgan,
Kanye west, etc..........I would get old after a while. WOuld you not pay a premium to hear him sit with Oak? Dolan? Shumer?

Really, im only interested in him on the court.

As the saying goes...better to keep quiet and let people think you are a fool that to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Too late for Lavar Ball, though.

He is tarnishing what should be Lonzo's shining moment...If I was Lonzo I'd confront him and lay down the law.

That's the thing.... all his sons are nba caliber players. LaMelo Ball is provably the best and he's only a sophomore in high school. He doesn't need to be this creature feature to promote his kids. They are already that good. Shame man.

As of right now, Lonzo is the best all-around of the three. But the others are still in high school.

I'm not even going to comment on the content of his message. I'm just going to say he's flat out wrong. The reason UCLA lost is that Lavar Ball got ****ing smoked by De'Aron Fox.

Ball shot 4 for 10 from the field and 1 of 6 from three (OUCH!) for 10 points(OUCH!), 3 rebounds, 8 assists (nice), and 2 blocks (nice), and 4 TOs (ouch). A decent but underwhelming performance.

Fox shot 13-20 from the field (NICE!), to go along with 13 of 15 from the line (NICE!) to get 39 points (NICE!), 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals (nice) and 1 TO (NICE!)

He can blame the slow white dudes all he wants but the reason UCLA lost is because Ball got his lunch eaten

The NY media would have a field day with this. As much as Inthink Ball is an impact player his father could just as easily have a negative impact on the Knicks.

Lavar likely cost his son a bit of money on endorsements.
He has encroached on his son's brand with his words and the more he defines his public persona, the more doubt companies will have about his son's.

All Lonzo has to do is to publicly separate himself from his father's comments. He does that and I believe the damage will be minimal.

He has to show the NBA that he's a grown man with his own opinion. Otherwise teams are going to worry about having to deal with his ******* father, if they weren't already. Its his son's turn, he should just STFU.
