Riley and Spoe ave done an amazing job on all fronts. Also, Riley made the right move with Wade.

Is the point that we should be trying to imitate them or what? I'm not getting the underlying point of this thread. I'm hoping we can build something much better than the Heat from this point. IMO I prefer being in the Lottery this year than being mediocre and playing above our heads right now. If this is the true nature of the Knicks then so be it. BOTTOM OUT and get in the top of the draft if we can.

I wouldn't call 26-8 no mans land. They have a great style of play elite pgand c play and excellent role players-- not bad for a team that just lost wade Lebron and bosh

Mean while we have a 100 million dollar roster that have failed to win 2 in a row in the last 50 games, that's like unheard of.

I have always loved Dragic.

But you have to admire how they turned things around. Ridiculous.

And they so made the right move on Wade. I just want our FO to be strong enough to walk away from Rose and not bid against ourselves and let him walk if he is getting more money elsewhere.

Miami after an awful start obviously bought into something and made a great run!
Obviously they lost games but did they make a change? or something click?
if contrast to knicks, well you have a long tenured coach and GM/President that has a 22 year history.
You know I bet of you take some early years one might have said Riles did some lousy work at times. Yes, they had some very lean years.
I guess patience pays off. The Beasley Era was a colossal failure as a pick but they kept a plan in check and tanked. They cleared salary and Riles got Lebron.
Epic move.

It's a fun group. But Dragic and Whiteside aren't leading them anywhere. They would trade both for porzingis tomorrow. And they owe drsft picks to Phoenix still. I see no upside with that group.
