then they will sit out the rest of the season or play limited minutes. Selfish bastards. You can even see now how rose and Melo are not listed to play tomorrow. It was probably to increase their value for the off season.

Melo and Rose are not listed to play tomorrow? Where did you find that? The only stuff I saw from the Knicks was that they assigned some of the young guys to Westchester for tonight's game.
I thought the Knicks would probably only sit Melo for away games. Not sure about Rose. They seem to be giving him a lot of run aside from when he was injured. This would be a big step towards the tank. Would love a link to verify.

Hornacek was quoted as saying the team didn't want to go out losing five in a row. He said they'd try to win "1 or 2" then play the kids.

I'm guessing they'll try to win tomorrow against Miami in the Garden, then start the process of resting the vets and playing the kids more.

Who really knows though. This is the sort of directive that should be coming down from Phil - moving back four spots in the lottery could be the difference between getting a nice piece and getting a franchise altering talent. I actually like Melo and Rose, but frankly I don't give a damn about their feelings these last 8 or 9 games. They can sit and ponder if they want to stay here. Stop winning games that are not meaningless but actually harm our pick and ability to rebuild.
