Was on our homepage...did not see it yesterday. Best of both worlds...Dirk's outside game and Pau's post game. I assume that Willy would work with Pau, also. This would be a great thing if it happens. Pau also built himself up over the year...I remember him being criticized for not being a "tough" big earlier in his career- hopefully he and KP can talk about strength training, too, because I think Porzingis was lazy with the weight training in the offseason. Pau and Mark should put them both in a clinic. Play 2 on 2 with them all summer and teach them how to play dirty like them lol. Seriously they need to learn to be nasty and aggressive.

EnySpree wrote: great to hear about Pau and Dirk but I was immediately thinking of KG too, especially for defense. he is/was kind of light and if he could teach KP to use his length and position better on D (along with being nasty) we'd see more return from that. Similarly Willy should visit someone like Marc Gasol for defense. (5)(7)

Noah strikes me as more of an effort guy. His rebounding technique is poor. He doesn't block out properly most of the time. It's something I noticed paying close attention to him this year. |

This is what KP needs.
After the Spurs game, Pau-Sasha-Willy-KP had an extended conversation. Pau and KP also exchanged a hug and were clearly happy to see each other. I think you see the same with Dirk when he sees KP. There's a mutual respect. Absolutely KP should be working out with Pau and Dirk. |

Willy has surged this season from the start.
And thats not from good coaching? From somewhere? Seriously, Willy goes from obscure afterthought to top 4-5 rookie this season after playing just 15 game avg. 11 per game in spain last season, and nobody thinks anyone has done a good job with this kid? KP still remains a 21 year old Vunderkind and we give credit to only his brother and his baked in hard work ethic? Seriously, no good coaching either? KOQ a much better player, and no cred to anyone? NO doubt the majority of any players improvement comes from within and hard work, but often there are coaches working with them. We have two of the brightest young front court bigs in the league and all we do is with Oak can come in and teach "toughness"? How do you do that? ![]() As player, Ewing as not all that receptive to ball movement unless he was receiving it. |
