I think what this list actually shows is that the teams who can find diamonds win, and many of those diamonds (e.g., Steph) weren't perceived as so shiny when drafted (see Kawhi etc.)

And if we had any success in recent years it's been our drafting -- much better than our success in FA. This past year with Baker, Randle we did better than some teams who had picks

you means the guys we drafted that phil traded away..
