I just want to point out the matchup he had against Damien Lillard. If you look at the box score out jyst looks like Dame just lit Randle up. If you watched their heads up Randle was very poised and under control. Dame on the other hand was pushing and smacking Randle. Talking smack too. Randle never retaliated or left the game mentally. He just kept playing. He didn't get into the "I'm going to get you back" game. He just kept running the offense. The refs weren't calling anything for him. On one play, Dame actually held Randle on a cut to the basket. He was wide open and would of had a dunk if he didn't hold him. Refs let it go. Randle just threw his hands up and kept playing.

I love Randle. He plays under control and with poise. His body is strong and he's always squared to the basket. Dame tried to hack him on a drive to the hoop. Randle just took the hits and kept advancing without throwing the shoulder or elbows. He was just strong.

Randle's issue is on D...but I also think we overrate his handle at times. I still feel he should have a few games where he plays 25MPG, at least, and doesn't have to worry about being taken out if he makes a few mistakes.

I love Baker, but he has to be a better shooter than what he has shown us or he's going to be a 10MPG player at best. He passes up a lot of midrange pull-ups, and he has to hit more shots from deep to be a viable player in the league.

I've been surprised at his poor J...he has to tinker with it in the off season.

Im so tired of losing but this is the only way we are getting out of this. Melo is finished even entertaining the idea of building a team with hum as a major piece is frickin stupid. Lose some and lose more, 2 more years of terrible play should give us a decent core of youth to build on.

I don't believe in the doomsday predictions. There are so many ways that you can build a Title Contender in the NBA. The Knicks are going to have several shots at drafting the talent they need from here on. If you're smart you can get talent anywhere in the draft.

So yes we're starting with Bigs but this team is at the very beginning of the process of trying to build a team but you have to start somewhere and right now this team starts with some of the young players we have now and hopefully some of the players we get this year in the draft and beyond.

You would think that by now everyone would've gotten the angry and pessimistic talk out of their system. The ONLY thing that matters now is what this team does for the future. It's a waste of energy IMO to complain about the team losing when it could help us get out of this rut with a better Draft Pick. Isn't that pretty much about the best thing we can hope for at this point? Draft as well as you can and develop your young talent!!! We're at the end of the Tunnel now and about to step safely into the light.

I think it will be three more years of the Knicks being a lottery team minimally. Maybe the picks work out. Hopefully the guy that replaces Phil knows what he is doing and brings in a coach that he believes in and allows him to run his system.

As for Phil I actually think he might re-up with the Knicks rather than leave. I think this team going young could reinvigorate him a bit. I could be wrong but I think he's looking forward to seeing what he can build and teach a relatively new coach in Jeff and a team full of younger more talented players. At his heart Phil is a teacher and I think he's going to enjoy the next couple of years.
