As a die-hard fan of this team I have watched almost every gamemost games beginning in the H2O, Ward and Childs times. I have been through the a lot of happiness but mostly disappointment and then embarrassment and then discust( IT years) I am so happy to have our picks, to have a young team full of potential and to have a clear cut direction and be a part of a culture change within our team. Or at least an attempt at.
That being said I cannot watch games because tipoff is at like 4:30 am where I live. It would be awesome to hear about our players games. This year I did manage to watch one game and I catch personal highlights on YouTube. Reading real opinions about our players have always been a treat. I'll start, please correct me when I am wrong.

Melo- reverted back to NotDadMelo. D only when he is in the mood for it.
Porzingis- improved greatly, his positioning this year prevents him from as many putbacks and great help d as he had last year.
Willy- smooth post game, great footwork, great passer, good pnr finisher.
Noah- great in the locker room our cheerpractice leader.
KOQ- great passer, developing his jump shot, rebounds
Holiday-?
LT-3+d
Rose- playing for a new contract, in his own world
Jennings- what happened man?
Kuz- triple threat, rebounds, great in the fast break, does he play d?
Baker- is he any good?
I'd love to hear what you guys have to say about our players right now.

Everything you have ever wanted is on the other side of fear- George Adair

I actually like some of the role players we have. Holiday did a good job this year. I feel Baker and Randle can be good bench players and need more development. CLee was a good signing. Noah was giving what he had. Hopefully Noah will be relatively healthy next year in a reduced role off the bench. LT was really hurt by the plantar fasciitis but he's been coming back to form and should continue to be a sold reserve.

Derrick Rose- he's an enigmatic talent. We haven't had a PG that can attack the basket like this since maybe Marbury. His mid range game is awesome. However, he has limited court vision and he can't play defense. I think he has not been a fan of the triangle, and I can't see him back next year.

Carmelo Anthony- I think he had a stretch of great play, but too many miles for him to do the heavy lifting of a franchise.

Kristaps Porzingis- started the year great, then wore down, got hurt. 3pt shooting % is worrisome (to me). Should be stronger, better next year. Probably a legit 2 years away from being a major force for us.

Kyle O'Quinn- Never gets in the game, but when he does, can exert nice effort. Single-handedly won a game, if I recall correctly.

Justin Holiday- nice role player. If he gets paid ridiculous money, do not want him back.

Mindaugas Kuzminskas- looked amazing for a stretch. Was lights out from 3pt range. Could have a future role. But only as a reserve off the bench.

Marshall Plumlee- nice effort, but where has he been lately?

Joakim Noah- 4 year albatross. Thank you Phil!

Courtney Lee- he is not a star. He is part of the supporting cast. Unfortunately with us, he has to be a starter.

Lance Thomas- role player who has found a niche with the Knicks. Nothing to get excited about. If he were on the Cavs or Golden State, you might think he was the second coming of Robert Horry. Unfortunately on the Knicks, completely exposed. Too bad he got hurt.

Sasha Vujacic - Phil's standby to take over the HC role after Phil fires Hornacek

Maurice Ndour - has not played

Willy Hernangomez - only bright spot on a miserable season. The only player that Phil added in the off season that belongs in the NBA. I recall reading something where Steve Mills tried to take credit for him.

Ron Baker- hustle player that probably should be 10th man off bench

Chasson Randle - Langston Galloway 2.0.

I thought KOQ is just like melo, he plays hard sometime, and very lazy at others, which is why his minutes fluctuate..I watched him very closely the other night, and I couldn't believe the BS effort on defense.

My guess is that the veterans on the team are the ones that are sick of the dram and the system. They young guys are just happy to be in THE NBA, so they will go for anything. Your not going to see them bitching about much
