http://nba.nbcsports.com/2017/01/23/report-phil-jackson-told-carmelo-anthony-he-disagreed-with-charley-rosens-criticism/
Why was this swept under the rug “In the meeting, Jackson told Anthony he did not subscribe to the criticisms in the article and the story did not speak for him, sources said.” Then Rosen states phil had no say in the article. Yet there some strange belief that melo will waive his NTC this off season, which I seriously doubt it. ES

So basically he look melo in the face and lied to him, and that's the guy we are to trust. ES

What your saying isn't far fetch, but I believe phil. One of the main reason he chase Melo all over the country to resign him was because he clearly stated that the system needed a bonafide scorer for when the offense stalls. I think the possible trade talk came from trying to please Melo, considering the direction of the team, his age, and not wanting him to deal with the losing. As long as melo wants to be here, phil doesn't have a choice and i think he wants him here. ES

So while the local media is starting to come down on phil, Rosen seems to be the only media guy that blames the players. All of Phils moves were great, it's the players that didn't live up to it, and made phil look bad. ES
