And it doesn't matter if Rosen was quoting Phil..Rosen almost exclusively interviews and writes Phil's articles for him when he communicates with the fansbase...Rosen would have to run that by Phil before printing it..Or his meal ticket would be a jeapody..

One of the main reason he chase Melo all over the country to resign him was because he clearly stated that the system needed a bonafide scorer for when the offense stalls. I think the possible trade talk came from trying to please Melo, considering the direction of the team, his age, and not wanting him to deal with the losing. As long as melo wants to be here, phil doesn't have a choice and i think he wants him here.
