Whoever else will have to beat this guy out for playing time. He defends, moves the ball and knows how to play. Super tough guy who wants to win. Do you think we can afford to stash a player somewhere? Looks like we have 10 players under contract for next year. Baker & Rose & Holiday - I have to figure only Baker comes back. Our 1st rounder - that gives us 12. Then, for the last 3 spots - I'd like to get players in to camp/system and see if they can contribute. |

Agreed, he can play. Ideal for a 2nd round pick.

small tough guards can be had late.. they also have some great upside. Frank Mason reminds me of what we wanted Tony Douglas to be but never was. He really reminds me of Lowry. Tough, leadership, plays both ends, knows how and when to hit big shots...

Josh Hart might be available in the second round, would definitely trade up to get him. Guy defends, rebounds and can score. More athletic Danny Green/Ron Mercer type. Need to add tough minded winner to the team.

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL
So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

I like Frank Mason. I could see an upside of Lowry.. also reminds me a bit of Aaron Brooks who was on the Rockets and Bulls all those years.
Watching Kansas highlights, I really love Josh Jackson, too. Feel like his passing and cutting at the 3 would be a game changer for this team. Wouldn't mind slipping into the third pick in the lotto and getting Jackson and taking Mason in round 2. ¿ △ ?

I don't see him as being close to the finisher Lowry is. Lowry was more athletic at the same stage. But I could definitely see Mason becoming a decent bench player, which is all you can ask for from a second round pick. I wouldn't be upset if we snagged him with the last of our second rounders. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.
