what is going on here it has been over a week niether baker nor dampier has been signed isnt it a little strange you would think somethin would have happened by now WATS THE HOLD UP!!!!!!!!

Some things take a long time. Who knows what's going on. The Crawford deal took a long time too.

Well, at least we know that if Baker hasn't signed that 3 million deal yet it may be because Isiah wants to keep the MLE in case Dampier really decides to sign it. It is strange that nothing big has been known about negotiations or possible trades going down. I really hope we add Dampier this offseason too. We'll see what happens.

The longer it takes, the better things look. Atlanta (and any other teams in the running for Damp) may have to try and sign someone else before it's too late. The only other FA we're planning on signing is Baker, and he doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Damp better do something soon or he may have to sign for the MLE.

As long as it ends up improving the NYK in the end, Messiah Thomas' moves can take as long as they need to.

Taking the time to make a calculated move is rarely a bad thing.

I really dont even want Dampier. I dont know much about what his status is now. If he signs with the knicks right now, what kinda contract can we offer him?

Give him a 2-yr MLE deal. That way we can extend if Isiah thinks it's necessary. He could also be traded next offseason for a younger big man...

yeah anything longer than a 5 years deal would worry me. He won't be effective at 35+
