Knicks need to go 11-7 to get back to 37 wins. Not happening this year.

It is all over a couple of month already... or a couple of years...
But not many want to accept the reality.

I hope they rest Melo and Rose and KP for the second game of the back to back against Brooklyn. If Detroit goes 9-8 the Knicks would have to go 16-1 to catch them.


Edit - the Knicks are actually 6 games back of Detroit and 5.5 back of Chicago. But the math is similar. If the Bulls and Pistons go around .500 the rest of the way, the Knicks have to go on an epic winning streak like they haven't done since the 2012-3 season. It's not happening.

They need to start resting Melo and Rose and KP. (Though actually playing Rose is probably the best thing they can do for the tank)

Knicks started 14-10. They're 12-29 since then. Unbelievable.

Why do we think that management or fans believe playoffs is happening?
But you play games to win. It's the way of competitive sports.
You do not play games to lose.

Even if you can not make the playoffs, it doesn't mean you put your arms up in the air, forget about everything and just allow everyone to gangbang you on a nightly basis.

Come on.

Yes I'd like to see u get a great pick. I understand the point of either be in the playoffs or be in a great position in the draft. Knicks are caught in between but that's because their playoff level talent team severely underachieved.

With Melo/Rose and Hornachek being such a bad mix together, the team is 12-29 in their last 41. That translates to 24 wins on the season. So why is anyone worried? We're only good for 2 or 3 wins every 10. We may win 6 more games rest of the way, most likely 4-5. So what? Let it play out. You can not sit there and plan to lose every night. It's not the way competitive sports work.
