Crazy thing is the Knicks control their own fate in getting a better Lottery spot. Just lose and it's locked in but they aren't raising the white flag so it's going to be harder than it should be.

As you say its just completely crazy. Whilst I get the professional aspect to not deliberately throwing games its nonsensical given the huge upside for the entire franchise for years to come by ensuring as high a pick as possible. It just makes no sense to be dressing Melo or at least playing him in big minutes in these games given he can go on hot scoring streaks. We should be playing the young guys for most of the remaining minutes.

I like your optimism but fear melo/rose go 9-36 on games that matter

When we would be better of losing they go 20-36. If I were hornacek I'd have a hard practice before the game. 2 hours of suicides.

See what I mean, if rose had played 9-36 was a definite possibility!!
