You see what a difference a point guard makes. Without Lowry, Toronto looks mediocre

Baker moves his feet so well on D. The difference on D is so massive that it's shocking to see him stay in front of guys after watching our guards get blown by all season.

Here is the thing: we are a lot better defensively the last 2 games because A) we're controlling the tempo more playing triangle and B) LT is a much better defender than KP. Melo and KP together with Drose is a terrible defensive starting unit. What will happen when KP comes back and is starting again? Our defense will go back to being putrid.

Here's to having smart, gritty ball players on your team as role players. Randle is the same way. This team needed a higher basketball IQ.

To be fair playing the philly d league team and the raptors without lowry probably helps too KP is the least of our issues

KP is definitely not the problem on this team; what is the problem, however, is when he plays with Melo on the front line, which makes us one of the worst defending teams in the league. It just doesn't work--lack of foot speed.

BTW, Uncle Phil has been getting a lot of flack, and deservedly so, but Lee was a great signing for his contract. He is one of the most underrated players in the NBA. He is the perfect veteran role player to have with a young team.

his energy on defense is contagious this is why he should have been playing in the second unit all year
