funny that you said that, swift he's said to be as dumb as kemp. Maybe having half a brain helps to jump high.

Weird, cause a brain doesn't weight that much, so a half of a brain must weight even less.

Unless something drastic happens, Swift's career will never come close to that of the reignman, including his dud seasons in Portland and Orlando. And he will definitely "score" as much as Kemp did offcourt

This guy is amazing. He's a 6'9" Camby. He will never ever ever ever ever ever be a Knick. Never. Ever. And let's hope West doesn't trade him for Damps. But if you were West, would you trade that beast?

amazing is the word. He's an athletic freack.

you can make highlight videos with a lot of nba players, but not that kind of thing.

I hadn't watched him a lot, but i'm clearly impressed.
Why atlanta didn't try to raid that guy is really a mistery.

Next year could be tough for the grizzlies.

you guys see why I am so high on him. Wait till next year... best thing that can happen is he plays for the qualifying offer (which also means he cant be traded) and we get a shot at him next year. Remember, they have Wright at center, Gasol at PF and just signed Brian Cardinal for 5 years. Stro's minutes are looking to go down and not up.

Just keep him on the radar thats all. He's not a center, so I dont see him getting Okur type money next year. Maybe Isiah wines him and dines him. We can hope.

even next year, it's gonna get very hard to get him. We'll still be limited to the MLE. The clippers, maybe Atlanta and a few other teams will be able to offer him more.

As usual, he'll choose security (understandable btw) and go elsewhere.

Are you sure about being untradable during the qualifying offer year ?

positive... a player returning to a team for the QO can not be traded during that year. I remember learning this when Kandi was playing for the QO and we couldnt trade for him. Probably a good thing as Layden would have given him a 7 year $120mm CWebb deal.

he's a guy who doesnt get the full PT if you remember that slew of games where he got 40 minutes of PT 8 games in a row two years ago and averaged 23 points 12 rebounds 3 blocks. He does tend to drift at times but he plays out of position a lot due to the guys the Grizzlies have on th court. I wouldve rather spent my money on Swift than Crawford but thats not happening.

yeah, adn it's hard to give a very bad contract that would not be matched to a guy that average only 20' a night, while his minutes have gone down year after year.

great risk. (i'd do it with dolan's money btw)

Does anyone know if Atlanta will go after Swift if NYK gets Damp? Heard rumors awhile back that they were interested in Swift, but this was before they got Walker. If they gave Swift a huge contract Griz might not match, especially since Memphis already has over 15 players under the contract and holds the rights to restricted FA C Jake Tsaklidas. If Atlanta gets him it would give Hawks a front line of Swift, Harrington, and Walker.

Jerry West probably is playing hard ball. He probably knows what he's willing to sign him at and all the rest of the teams have to take a gamble on whether they will over spend or what....

Stromile is a freak.....He would be awesome in a Knick uni.....Knicks simply don't have enough to get him.
