2) D.Rose--this guys defense and energy is actually worse than Melo's. Rose is sooooo bad on defense it's comical and what makes it worse is that he thinks his plays good defense. I saw something on MSG and they asked him who's the toughest guard for him and his first comment was that he believes he can guard anyone......seriously??

I can't believe that Rose and Lee would forget what they learned about how to defend!!!
If we added Tony Allen I would expect him to defend the way he always has. I blame the players more than the coach in this instance.

Just watching Rose you can see in his body language the lack of effort. I watched Darren Collison help the Kings win and he was giving everything he had to try to slow down Dennis Schroder! The difference in effort level was massive!!! This is simply Rose not giving a flip!

I think KP does need more coaching help. He has a lot he needs to learn on top of getting stronger but also he actually does give more effort than guys like Rose or Melo! KP is statistically a far better defender than any of them and I think when he's on the floor with the younger guys they collectively defend at a higher level.

Yeah KP's energy isn't in question here but he's just not that good right now on defense. Nobody plays up on their man on this team, everyone is at least a good 5 feet off of their man on the outside. It doesn't seem like our guys even put their hands up, it seems like their hands are always down by their sides. There's so many problems with our defense it's ridiculous. K.Rambis has got to go but he probably won't be going anywhere.

Yep, I said that in another thread- everyone is silent about Rose because we're all roughly agreed that he should go. For me he's this years Bargs- I hate even seeing his face! His attitude, his lack of effort, his tantrum, the fact he is only interested in signing his max contract (As if he thinks he deserves one!), the way he refuses to pass to KP, probably out of jealousy

It would be nice to get anything for him before the deadline though. You gotta think a team would like to have him for what he can do on offense and i'm surprised we haven't heard his name in any trade rumors yet.

Notice Phil has bnever even bothered playing his mind games on him- he knows Rose is a lost cause. Also the lack of sanction after he walked out on the team, would indicate they are determined to move him but just didn't want to lower his trade value.

I don't see many teams that would be interested in trading for him- maybe Twolves now LaVine is down, maybe Sixers, maybe Kings. Don't really see any other team.

There was an article that said at least one team was interested, so lets keep our fingers crossed

Not really- the thinking was always that it was a gamble, but if it didn't work out he was an expiring- I hope to move him for something back (maybe Rubio, maybe Kings are dumb enough to trade for him, maybe the Sixers), but I'll just be happy to see him gone.

I think they thought things were going to work out better. On paper, should have.

And yes, if no one takes him at the deadline, release him. let him sign with another team. I'm curious if anyone would, and if they did, would he get time.
