You add him to Wall & Beal they'll challenge in the east.

A deal revolving around Otto Porter,fillers and draft picks could be enticing for both sides.

Melo grew up in the DC area which is close enough to NYC so his wife & kid don't necessarily have to move.

Washington is a serious team--I wouldnt trade Porter and Oubre--come on??????? This team can give Cleveland trouble as is. 2nd best team in the east imho.

Wizards were hoping to sign KD but Melo is not a shabby consolation.

Wall, Beal, & Melo is a legit big 3.

As for the Knicks, Otto Porter will only get better and would fit in perfectly at the 3 with Porzingis & Hernangomez flip-flopping between the 4 & 5.
