I don't like to blame the refs, but the Knicks have lost at least five games this year that were some of the worst reffed games I've ever seen. Today was by far the worst.

Scott Foster was on the crew - Tim Donaghy used to call him all the time during the period when he has admitted to betting on games.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/2008/07/14/disgraced-former-nba-referee-tim-donaghy-phone-calls-to-second-ref-raise.html

The records show Donaghy placed 134 calls to referee Scott Foster — more than the 126 calls Donaghy made to his bookie — between October 2006 and April 2007, the period during which he has confessed to either betting on games or passing on game information to gamblers. The majority of the phone calls lasted no more than two minutes and occurred prior to and after games Donaghy officiated and on which he admits wagering.

With the exception of 150 calls Donaghy placed to Thomas Martino, to whom he says he provided "picks" to win games and who was the middleman between the disgraced referee and a bookie named James Battista, the ex-ref phoned no one more than he called Foster. During this period, the most calls Donaghy made to any other referee were 13.

Wow. I can't ever remember seeing a game as badly officiated as today's game was. This is hard to ignore after watching todays game.

They missed fouls to end reg and the 1st 3 OTs. Thesee weren't even debatable calls. My personal fav was Hardaway tackling Lee to end the 3rd OT.

Last season in the playoffs there were big complaints about the way refs called fouls. I can't believe Silver didn't do anything about it. He's all PC but not about as much action.
Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Not only did they miss multiple fouls for us they also called a foul on our best player that fouled him out that wasn't a foul. Melo didn't even touch Schroeder on his drive to the basket and they foul him out of the game in i guess what was the 2nd or 3rd OT.

Can't forget the Milsap shuffles...at least 2 of them, before setting up to shoot.

This is not true - it was clear contact.
The cheating refs did in this game was massive but very professionally done.
NBA is a fraud anyways and no far away from wrestling federation.
They have a lot of stuff staged with all technics worked out to perfection.
That why to win consistently team must dominate.
Then they will bet on spread not on the win/lose and dominant team will be on the right side of cheating most of the time.

Was brought up to never argue with refs. My dad/coach would bench those who did. But this was one of the most one sided officiated games I have ever seen.

Yeah, realistically he was fouled before shooting on his drive... probably should've been 2 FTs before the shot if they were calling it strictly by the book. But most other games in the league, that'd be an "And 1" layup.

I hate complaining about the refs - but a lot of the close losses we've had in the past month have had a healthy dose of really bad refs

And when you look at that versus the call where Melo picked up his sixth on Schroeder it is even more horrible.
