I'm going to throw John (what a waist) Wallace in there, for is horrific defense, and an absolute ball hog who could shoot pass the free throw line, and average .1 assist pg

But honestly, Spencer was the absolute worse player I've ever seen with a basketball. How he lasted in this league is totally mind boggle.

Ok, he wasn't the worst, but I cringed everytime Gerald Wilkens shot the ball, and then the ball proceeded to clang off the rim.

And Dudley might have been bad, but he had a role. Don't hate on him. He was a back-up center/foul machine.

Might not have been the worst, but my most hated is Charles Smith. Hands down. And not just for that series against Chicago. He sucked. He was a shell of a player. Couldn't run, couldn't jump, couldn't defend, couldn't shoot. And he was in the STARTING LINE UP!!! Anyway, glad he's gone. I hate Anderson -- he SUCKS and he's overpaid, but I hated Smith more.
For GOD'S SAKE! He was 6'10" and couldn't throw down!

eddie lee wilkens was horrible. the single reason why ewing could not prelong his career with a backup center like wilkens. i hate charles smith the most out of any knick in history but he was no way the worse. scotty brooks was bad as well as lohous. jr reid stunk it up also. what a waste of talent.

Btw does anyone remember this one white player from the bucks like a decade ago who had the ugliest looking jumpshot? Its on the tip of my tongue. His shot remains to be the ugliest. Far more ugly than Bill Cartwright's, Peja's, Marion's, Camby's and Deke's

anyways gotta say the worse knicks evr has to be clarence he is the worst i mean he would be 2 feet away and throw it off glass ad it would bounce off to half court

Another player who use to make the crowd hoot and holler and groan whenever he came in the game was Travis Knight. I'm sure he had to be mentioned already on this thread, but I just had to throw in my peice. I can't think of one productive thing he did as a player.

Chris Dudley was a damn good rebounder/defender. He was a good backup center and far from the worst knick of all time. He sure as hell could not shoot though. John Wallace probably doesnt deserve to be mentioned here either...but then again he was Lee Nailon before Lee Nailon came to the NBA. J.R. Reid and Brad Lohaus were bad, but both had a few decent games for us here and there (I distinctly remember J.R. Reid having a 22 point game, and didn't he clock AC Green one time?), and more importantly they allowed us to get rid of Charles Smith.

Jerrod Mustaff, Felton Spencer, Dennis Scott and Scott Brooks are good calls though. 3-D was quite a bust here. I always hated David Wingate, and he spent some time here as Ewing's buddy.

Making the case for Chris Dudley's nomination to the list:

...when we were playing the Lakers in LA, and Shaq caught Dud with that monsta dunk / nut sandwich. Dudley then picked up the ball and threw it at Shaq as he walked downcourt laughing...

Ouch...

Plus, I want to addd Fred Weis to the list of Worst Knicks ever who never played. (VC jumping OVER his 7+-foot azz was em-friggin-barrassing!)
