A few off the top of my head....Any comments? Who do you think is the worst Knick player that ever graced the Knicks?

Rick Brunson - He was OKAY. Nothing special though.
Ronnie Grandison - Remember this guy?
Chris Dudley - He had guts though, throwing a basketball at Shaq, and his 16 point performance at the Garden...Still a softee.
Fredric Weis - He never even played for the Knicks and Layden picked this terrible pick whom never even came to the Knicks.
Chris Childs - He did have SOME good games and wasn't THAT bad, but pretty bad.

Chris Childs absolutely saved the Knicks in a playoff game in Miami one year. He scored like 15 straight points in the 4th quarter. He wasn't great, but he wasn't the worst ever.

Travis Knight gets my vote for worst ever. If he hadn't played so awfully that LAyden choose to waive his expiring contract (?!), we would have had enough expiring deals to get Sheed from Atlanta. God, I hate Layden. Can we vote for Layden as worst Knick ever?

Slavko is close to being the worst Knick skill-wise.

Shandon also had some big games for us earlier this year. They wouldn't have made the playoffs without him. Yes, he's done, but please a little respect.

What about the 80s?

Winner:

Ken "the animal" Bannister

Honorable mentions:

Louis Orr
Kenny "Sky" Walker

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Layden's pick ups, Shandon, Eisley, Knight, Longley perhaps the worst group of talent ever assembled. Even looking at that line makes me sick.

Chris Childs had some big games and always made the clutch free-throws and snuffed Kobe, but he was always good for two stupid turnovers down the stretch.

Weis gets my vote, because he cost us Artest, another brainbusting move, and never played a game

To Bad you can't vote for management because they make me sick, Dolan has ruined this time, Isiah can try but the fact remains they had a great chance after 00 to move in the right direction and let it slipp by terrible drafting and literally the worst use of money in history.

I think if we are talkin about the most hated Knick player, then its Smith right up there for his futility, and Anderson, well because he is Anderson. Even though every player Layden brought in except for the young guys and Dyess I hate with a passion.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I gotta list...

Stu Grey
Matt Fish
Shandon Anderson
Howard Eisley
Dontae Jones
Monty Williams
Eddie Lee Wilkins (he's a personal fave)
Travis Knight
Luc Longley

I go with Anderson and Dontae Jones

Gotta be Eric Anderson or Bo Kimble. Eric Anderson was great...he was a pale readheaded kid with no game at all, but I remember him hitting a couple of buzzerbeating 3 pointers. Of course these were buzzerbeaters in 20 point blowouts. It was really a site to see when he came on the court for garbage time.

Not saying these guys were the worst but remember Hawthorne Wingo, Mel Daniels, Tom Riker. Louis Orr could play a little.

Tapscott picked Weiss not Layden...worst of all Ron Artest was on the board and JVG was shouting for the Knicks to pick him but Tapscott wanted to go big even though it was clear by his clips he couldn't play.
