I tried to put myself in Melo fans shoes.
I am from Latvia and like KP game...
Knicks suck so why I would not be a fan of the team KP will play for.
If it will be Knicks its even better. But if not why not to move on?

KP will never leave the knicks... were at rock bottom now, but when KP becomes the king of NYC he will never want to leave, he's our next Ewing .

What are the odds we're not just as bad over the next 2 years? Look at our team's history. Other than KP, Phil hasn't added any respectable NBA starters in 3 years. And now he's gonna put a good team together in the next 2? Maybe that can happen if he learns from all his mistakes but I'm skeptical. You make it sound like this is an unusual temporary state for our team.
