Spree was relentless in the fast break and on the drive. Camby was a freak. Houston was real slick then you can really see the difference 5 years of basketball can do to someones body.


LJ stood out to me though.....I loved his sliding post moves.....I think the way he played with his back to the basket was the most creative post game I've ever seen.
Dude was so strong and he was the smallest guy on the court down low scoring with no problem. I miss LJ......

Fact is, we all loved that team that was indeed a great team. What we didn't realized was that it had a shirt term life.

Ewing was clearly on the downfall, LJ was a time bomb ready to explode (back), camby became mr glass again and bought a house in the IL, spree had peaked in term of athleticism which was his strenght, houston never took off...

The best thing, as hard as it would have been would have been to blow that team when we lost. We could have started from scratch very quickly, as did indiana after they lost the finals against LA.

But we did not and chose another path.

Then, the starphucking started...

back in paris ? tu habites ici où tu y seras juste pour des vacances ?

I have an apartment in Paris but spend most of my time abroad. I've spent the past six months in Finland, Sweden, Russia, Estonia...

However, I should stay in Paris for a few months now and will be back there at the start of September. I also have some nice Knicks video like the win at MSG for the 2001 opener against MJ for his return...

I got this one too. 55pts from maichael, that was insane.

I'll be back from the US around the end of september, so we'll try to settle something.
All my ball tappes are in britany where my family lives, so next time I'll go there, I'll catch the game for you.

I think Spree outshone Michael during that game Raven, IIRC Michael didnt hit 55 pts though I think he poured 50 on KMart latter that season.

my bad, i was talking about his first return (didn't check th date). He dropped 55 pts in the 5th game after he came back. That was totally unreal.

That team had charisma. L.J. was the man. No matter how good this current team does I don't think I could ever like them as much as I loved that team. I hate to live in the past but I guess until they do win the championship - that will be the team of all Knick teams.

we should get all the games we got under avi or mpeg format, so that we could share through emule, or even with a FTP.

you know what's funny is watching those old commercials again...they had the spot for a baseball game for Playstation (i think it was MLB 2000), & the graphics are pretty primitive looking...it's amazing how much has changed in the span of 4 years.

I think that is the best idea brought up. I think someone, if they have the resources to, should dedicate a server for this then maybe the mods here could create a new page and share all the videos out. Of course it should be allowed to those who sign up as members. It's hard finding Knicks videos.

He was on it but he wasnt really "part" of the team...the turning point of the 99 year was late in the season away @ miami, knicks were down by 17 i think with about 5 minutes left and they came back and won that game...WHAT A YEAR THAT WAS

"Sinking and Stinking" was the name of the article right before the knicks turned it around in that Miami game.

I remember that game and that great comeback. I really think the Knicks were down by 20 in the 4th qtr. Things started to go their way and Miami just could'nt stop them. That game turned their whole season around.
