Isola loves to bring up phils contract as if somehow his pay should make him answer to the press.
My take is the line of fire is after a game the coach is the voice. Mills is the GM and Phil is the president.
That said, I would expect to hear from Phil last. The money has nothing to do with it or Dolan being upset.
Two weeks ago this franchise was doing just fine. What we at least know is the losing streak and defense breakdown has bubbled over.
Who and why/how this came about is a bit more apparent.

We all have some opinions, this makes it fun. After all if you can't have drama on the court, why not off it!!!
The Jax era has not been without its share! Melodrama is always with us, Fisher reported to be sleeping with his players wifes/Girls, and then "GovanGate", to his dismissal.
Rose is not exactly been a great guy but we welcomed him with open arms and thought all would be good as long as he is healthy.
The Sex Trial was ugly, but he was proved not liable in a civil suit. Don't mean he was innocent, but just not for MONEY.
I was hoping he could be the player who QB'd the triangle for us and moved this franchise forward. This is in jeopardy.

Absolutely staggering. We have young players like KP, Kuz, Baker etc and they are being influenced by this guy. There is no leadership or accountability whatsoever.

How bad was it that he's back in NY a few hours later? Seems like he threw a tantrum and came up with some family BS as an excuse- reporters tweets were saying his story didn't even fit with the teams official time line. Only way I'm okay with him not being suspended is if they are intending to trade him and don't want to decrease his value, so are covering up for him.

There is no excuse for it. But i am sure Knicks staff told him since it was the first occurrence of anything like this, they will let him away with a fine. Obviously if it happens again, things would be different. This speaks to Rose's character as a whole, but i don't think we can really fault the Knicks for not throwing the book at him for a first-time issue.

I know it's action detrimental to the team but management seem to be giving him a light pass with a fine only..So I'm thinking it was a big deal...They are saying they fined him for not informing them, not for actually going...

Yeah, that seems to be the case. We might never know the exact issue, so we will reluctantly have to take them at their word that it was serious enough to not warrant more than a fine.
