based on his year of play and the other players in the draft i say top 12 to 15 but ive seen him on some mocks going in the 20's just wondered why a nice player who has shown improvement and led his team far would be so lightly thought of
he and the french pg would make two nice hauls IMO

I agree too. He is thought badly of because he is a junior so it's unlikely he has a lot of untapped potential and just began shooting well this year. However his skill set fits the triangle and he plays defense. He reminds me of Shane Battier but a better passer. However, Phil would have to get a late lottery pick to get him.

Would wonder about his ability as a defender in the NBA from the games I saw him play, but have not seen enough of him.

I'll bet he finds a place on a team in the league, but not as a starter...though who knows.

Smith looks so athletic I worry if his body can sustain it- could easily see him tearing an ACL again. He does look amazing though, but I don't see Phil taking him, unfortunately

Reminds me more of Otto Potter because of his ability to pass as well.

I like the Porter comparison better. Battier was a little tougher physically and less athletic. Porter needed time to develop and I think Justin will also. Just from a physical standpoint, Porter might have had a bit of a headstart.

A player, I hope, the Knicks keep an eye on Xavier Rathan-Mayes from Florida St. Everyone is raving about J.Isaac, as they should, but XRM is a big time sleeper. Reminded me a lot of K.Irving.

As long as we are top 9, we are getting a really good player at a position of need.

YUP! IMO this is a good draft for quality players. It's going to be impossible to know for sure which players will exceed expectations but I many of these players should be good NBA Players.
