I think he's doing great. I do think there is a struggle somewhere between Horny and Jackson.... even considering that, I believe he's been on point in his game management and substitutions. I love his demeanor too. I want him here for the long haul

Coach need a couple of seasons to be evaluated.
First impression is good.
I think his personality is good to work in NY market.
He is good with media and players but demanding at the same time.
I am not sure if he get enough respect from Melo... but it will not be important moving forward.

I think he has a nice future here. Seems like a nice fit for the city, KP, and the culture knicks are trying to create. He's still a younger coach too, so decent upside as far as coaching is concerned.

It like it if he publicly flogged Rambis.

I think blame should be put on he coach bc this team is in total disarray. Seems like the players just hold the ball, chuck shots, play no D.

If Jeff came in and did EVERYTHING exactly how he wanted then I could see putting a lot of blame on him. I think Jeff has a good coaching mind, but things outside of him are impacting his job as coach. Phil needed to let Jeff do things his way. I thought the Triangle talk before the season was just a way for Phil to save face and that Phil was actually gonna let Jeff run his stuff. I was wrong. This offense is not anything like what Jeff ran and I don't know what they're doing on D.

regarding the D, If Rambis is in charge of the D and it's this bad then why keep him in that job? If they believe it's all on the players then you have to make trades. Either way Phil has to step in and take responsibility for how this is devolving. It didn't have to be like this. They should've been getting stronger as the season progressed. They're playing worse. WHY?

In spite of this mess, I do actually like Hornacek. I don't think much of what has happened is his fault.

IMHO, he is stuck with Melo. He probably did not even imagine how hard it would be to coach Melo.

He is a teacher and too many guys think they already know it all.

I really think Ajax wanted to let Melo go but Was over ruled. It's so obvious that he is the problem to me.
