This guy is a do it all combo guard who was a 2nd round pick last year, yet he's going to be a starting caliber guard for a long time. I would be very happy with that level of player with our 1st round pick. He's the ideal supporting player for a star like the Greek Freak. Hopefully we can find a couple of these guys to play with Porzingis for the next 10 years.

We may already have a guy like that on the roster who goes by the Ron Baker.

Haha yeah I knew someone would respond pretty quickly with that. I was thinking the same thing and he can absolutely become that. He's not at that level yet but could get there. Would still like to find more guys like this though, no question about it. We need these multi position players who can impact the game on both ends.

I had doubts about Hornacek's decision to keep Randle over Baker, but I get it now. Baker's defensive scrappiness at the guard spot fills more of a need on this roster.

This. What a job the KNicks scouts did. No picks and they sign Baker and Kuz and Willy comes over from the previous draft.

Yup...pretty much said same thing on the game thread.

Just compared their specs on DExpress. Brogdon only .5" taller .75" more on wingspan, .5" more on standing reach, and their vertical numbers are basically identical.

Just a matter of playing time and confidence, IMO.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

i agree. thats what you draft, scout and draft some more. get talented young dudes on cheap contracts. no more 4 yr 72 mil contracts on injury prone dudes way past their prime
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
