well mcdyess came back when we thought he was done, perhaps Hill can but will he be the same player at age 32? I seriously doubt it. I see Hill at best a 20-24 minute player.

That would put the Magic at

C Cato 6-11 270
PF Howard 6-11 250
SF Hill 6-9 225
SG Turkoglo 6-10 230
PG Francis 6-3 210
Battie
Garrity
Augmon
Mobley

Its almost a yearly tradition with Hill unfortunately. He says he feels great then bam he is back on the IL.The guy is a class act so I hope its for real this time.I hope Houston doesnt go down this same path with his knee.

well, dice did not came back. Another kind of player with the same did.

So if i follow your logic, houston is done, but 2 of the most broken guys in recent history did or still have a chance to come back ?

Hill's comeback is the same story every year. Sadly cause he does not deserve that at all, chances are that he'll play a bunch of games (really well) and then we'll go back to the IL.

i do think h2) is done as a 40 minute player. I think he can return as a 20-24 minute player, but i doubt his knee will be able to absorb more than that.

getting 24 very good minutes of Houston would be enough in my book. I'd be more than happy if he could bring us that. At the same time, it would ease crawford developpement if he doesn't have to galnce over his own shoulder.

Grant's healthy when he can last a season. Every year he's come back and even played very well for a stretch... heck, he single handedly beat the Knicks one year. I think its up to 4 surguries in 5 years now on the same ankle w/ 2 screws in it.

Its a total shame like Griffey w/ the legs. His talent never let him down, his body it.

That Magic have some potential, they really. I think if they are well coached and get some chemistry they will be a fiesty team to deal with.

How about 1 to 2 minute player?
