This is a great article makes you wonder how responsible tibs might be in the health of rose and Noah while they were in Chicago. He played d rose and Noah a lot kinda ran them into the ground .

I know thibs gets the blame for their health, but I suspect the Bulls medical staff deserve more of the blame- they cleared Noah to return to the game with a broken ankle or something a few years ago, they completely messed around with Deng and accused him of faking it when he had meningitis (and then botched the treatment of it). I just don't get why they seem to get a pass.

why? especially over hornacek and considering the role thibs obviously wanted within the organization and the current state of the Knicks organization (ie the Knicks already have a president and GM).

Why? So far hornacek has done a spectacular job. Unless we go belly up, horny is going to be here for a long long time. Hopefully he will bring us a chip with KP, rose, and melo. I see a lot of Sloan in horny, and Sloan was a genius.

Thibs hasn't changed one bit, he is driving his stars into the ground just like he did in Chicago. They look beat and they are not buying in to his system defensively. his failure to create a successful offensive game plan with that roster is painful to watch. If thibs is unwilling to adjust his coaching style to his roster, he's going to be canned in a year or two.

I meant hypothetical. Its in the past and I'm happy with hornacek.

Phil didn't want a Grinder Type. That's not his style. Phil negotiates and inspires more than he cracks the whip.
PLUS when you have to protect the health of many of your key players you don't want a guy that only knows Push the Pedal to the Metal.

Not to mention how Jeff's personality is more agreeable to Phil. Jeff can get along with anyone. Jeff can be tough when needed but not all the time with his players. On top of all that Jeff is a brilliant basketball mind. We're just fine with Jeff.

Definitely wouldn't judge Thibodeau by his first season with the youngest starting team in the league. I wouldn't count out a coach with his record, his ability to inspire loyalty. As well as the time, and the talent to make it work.

you wouldn't get as much of a chance to ride KP's jock because after Thibs played him 45 minutes a game he would be broken and done. So there's that
