Tired legs. But the Knicks made plenty of mistakes down the stretch. Would've been nice to get both, but it strikes me as very difficult to win a back to back like this.

This was an opportunity that got away. Hornets down 2 starters

Really frustrating.

This was a winnable game as Charlotte was shorthanded but we did have to use too much energy digging out of that 21 point deficit.

I'd like to attend the game on Monday night but that's not happening--sigh.

They didn't give up. It sucks that they lost. I loved the poise on offense when Holiday hit that last three.

They played the right way for the most part and if just a couple of those shots drop 💧 they win this one. They were right there.

Personally I'd like to see more spread 4 Out looks. This team has the right guys to play that way when they go small. It would open up more drive n kick.

Melo was beyond inefficient, if it's not going for you spread the ball it's simple

Barring some sort of miracle turnaround, that will be Melo's legacy.

Hey hornets were just as tired. More so. They were down 2 starters and have a lot of player movement on offense

This was mental fatigue and grit. Not tired legs.

Melo needs to take the next step and focus more on winning.

Knicks could EASILY play that way! GO SMALL! Rose, KP, Melo, Lee and Holiday! Play 4 Out, PnR, Drive n Kick!!!

Melo went from hero to goat in less than 24 hrs here...That didn't take very long...Not surprising though...

What do you think he was focused on if not winning?

Knicks got killed on the boards when they went small. Hornets outrebounded them 13-4 in the 4th quarter.

Terrible first period, good comeback which I liked to see in a back to back, but in the end we couldn't make stops and doing ISO didn't help either

Wish the Knicks hadn't gone away from Jennings in the 4th. He came out with about 9min left (justifiably for some rest) but didn't come back in til the dying seconds. I would've brought him back with about five minutes left.

People are being honest. It cuts both ways. When you play well you get praise but when you play bad you will get criticized nothing wrong with that

Yeah but they weren't efficient scoring as they would be playing 4 OUT!!! That is my main point. Play with an open paint so Rose can drive and kick. Rose n KP PnR etc. If you have Rose you should keep the lane open.

The great ones find a way to win

Melo needs to grow in that regard. He's immensely talented in so many ways

I think he has a little too much focus on his own shots rather than reading the game and seeing what's working

Correction - Jennings came out with 6min to go and the Knicks tied at 87.

Jennings comes out - the Knicks have four terrible offensive possessions in a row, the Hornets get 6FTs and Frank Kaminsky's 3 to make it 93-87. That felt like the ball game there. The team looked dead tonight when Jennings came off the floor.

Melo owns this loss. Awful game for him. Horny should have planted his ass on the bench tonight. Obviously he was off.

I hate the tired legs thing cause the Hornets also played a OT game last night.
