Millsap slams Hawks for losing 'to one of the worst defenses in the league'

First of all, the Hawks are not all of that, and for this guy to disrespect us and act as if we are dead last in the nba, or conference or even the division is enough to circle the date for the rematch.

Yeah I get it, our defense is suspect, but to give the team no credit, I hope that quote is in bold print on everyones lockers

Hey, its a diss but if ATL has championship aspirations then "Millsap" is right to call them out.
Maybe they went out the night before?

Im sure knicks are plenty upset. Do they need "Motivation"? Maybe.

Perhaps if they went to see "Hamiliton" the cast can call them out as well? That will get them good!

d rose vs Dennis shroder: rose 10 times better
Lee vs korver : lee overmatches korver and is the better overall player
melo vs KB : this one is easy Melo all day everyday
KP vs millsap : millsap is good but nothing close to KP and KP dominated millsap even over powering him
noah vs howard: depends on who comes out to play Noah has better work ethic but howard is a beast

I'd have to say we are a better talent then they are at every position as they have over played early on we have under played.... but now that we are jelling watch out we are a top 3 team talent wise in the east. its only a matter of building chemistry and a team bond and we are going to be a top team in the nba.. kp is turning into a super star and we already have two others in rose and melo.

To be fair to Paul -- he probably just assumed that this was one of the games Melo would be mailing it in again but he was wrong.

Melo typically shows up in front of the home crowd because he would never want to be fully boo'd by the entire garden crowd -- he typically chooses the road for when he isn't going to go 100% or when he is going to go full ISO mode.

Dwight and Melo are actually very much alike.

Both put up impressive stats - both play to beat of their own drum - screw any team concept neither players game changes one inch/ounce regardless of the system/coach.

Both Dwight/Melo couldn't lead a ant colony to a picnic feast.

Other players tend to think it will be great to play with them -- then once they have the chance they wonder "what the hell was I thinking".

DHow took his team to the finals when he was healthy..

That's ridiculous. Dwight is the epitome of "Hooray for me, phck everyone else" narcissism. Melo is inconsistent at times, but he cares about winning and about teamwork. Iso-Melo still comes out, but not nearly as often as in the past.

I'm sure the Hawks can play better and obviously they have, but that was a legit home win IMO. This Knicks team has to earn respect and that was what they did against the Hawks. I didn't see a Hawks team that was laying down. They were trying, but the Knicks were really executing on both ends. I mean look at Howard who had a typical game for him as did Milsap and Korver. That wasn't enough this time. Bravo to the Knicks who came to play.
