At this point Melo is a 4 or at the bare minimum will be one next year. Courtney Lee clearly isn't the guy to man that spot he is really a 6th man or a guy who needs to be on the 2nd unit can you guys put on this post who you think are the Knicks best options for the 2 or 3 position going forward (draft or Free agency).

The SG position is fine with lee, holiday, and baker. Target a big SF like Anunoby or Bridges.

Yeah...I'd be looking to find a future replacement for Anthony...someone who could be groomed without much pressure over the next 2 years.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

The Knicks are healthy draft wise. We have good scouts..... we're not tanking and we're trying to make the playoffs, so we're going to be looking at a pick 14 through 22 more than likely

Can still get a good pick in this draft even at those spots. It's a deep draft. Not gonna look at it til later though, I'm enjoying the Knicks figuring out how to play.

Lets not forget about the PG spot either, as of now we have two guys that have had major surgery to their knees so it would be nice to have a young kid we can groom behind whoever our starting PG is next year. I'm also fine with C.Lee and really like J.Holliday. I think people were expecting C.Lee to come in and score a bunch of points but i love what he's been doing and we can't have everyone scoring so it's good to know that he's alright with being a guy that's depended on more for his defense than scoring. The thing that surprises me most about C.Lee is he doesn't put up as many 3 balls as i thought he would and have actually seen him pass up some that he was wide open to take cause i thought he was gonna be a 3-D guy.

the SG position is not fine are you kidding me...dont let a backup like holiday fool you that quickly...he could become a starter at some point...but neither Lee nor Holiday are a "star"

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

I am saying it's not a gap. Lee will be starting for a few more years. Holiday is a capable backup or fill-in. Lee is a good fit as a complimentary player. You don't need a star at every position. We are paying Lee to be a starter the next 3-4 years. We have bigger holes to fill than SG, thats for sure.

The two guys that I have seen this year who come across to me as high caliber NBA draft picks are the PG from Washington and the 7-6 from UCF Taco Fall. I havent seen too many games--but these two have stood out to me other than watching Uconn. I caught a little of NC last night--they look great as a team and they have a big SG Jackson who is a first rd prospect--but the first two guys are standouts from what I have seen,

Knicks have no glaring holes. PG is good. SG is good. SF is good. Front court has a nice rotation. We will need to resign at least one PG. What is great about the current balance is looking forward to the draft you take the best talent available plain and simple. The only given is KP. I consider Willy in that mix also, but if a talented big fell to my spot in the draft I would not hesitate. Ideally we draft a guard with a lot of upside, but these things are so fluid

Fishmike. Go look up this center named Taco Fall. He was only a bit player for UCF last year-- same league as Uconn aac. He's not your every day 7-6. 300 of guy. He's coordinated and he has great stamina for his enormous size . He was a monster against Villanova who basically surrounded him. He's not on any draft sites now but he's a likely high lottery pick. If not lottery a guy if you were picking 18-19 like a Rudy Gobert who you can't pass on
