Rumors saying he could be odd man out with KD there.

Now Golden State would still need a sharp shooter, but not someone that needs the ball like Klay. That's Courtney Lee. KD loved Lance and could lobby for him to add depth to the bench. Maybe we throw in a pick or rights to swap or something.

Kristaps, Melo, Noah, Rose and Klay....

That rumored deal of Thompson to Boston for Crowder, Bradley, and the BK draft pick seems pretty fair for both teams.

Golden State does need some size, too. Maybe they want KOQ?

It'd be something I would consider...

Though I can't see GSW giving away Klay for that little.

I have him on my fantasy squad though, so I have noticed he's struggling!

Since wild rumors are ruling the day, how about Unibrow for KP and Rose...Word has it he might want out and NO getting a little worried about all his injuries..I saw this proposal on an obscure website last week...I'll do it in a heartbeat and try to pry JrueHol away from them too...

Yeah, that'd actually be a great deal for both teams.

Crowder and Green seem very similar though - they might wanna flip Crowder for a big? Maybe we could try to get involved there? I'd love Crowder.

I saw it too. I might be crazy, but i would have a hard time doing it. I'm concerned with the injuries, and Davis being older than Porzingis. Porzingis could possibly be as good as him in a few years. For once, i like having our own franchise player, instead of trying to claim someone else's. But it would be temping i would have to say. I am glad it's just a rumor from a bogus site though.

he's struggling? in his last 4 games he's scored, 24, 20, 19, 30 all over 50% shooting. i don't see the warriors moving him, short of a top nba player.

But he's 3 years older and has never come close to playing a full season. He's a much better player and a sure thing, but it is debatable if he would be a better long-term investment for this franchise with his history of missing a lot of games.

He is actually 2 years older..But 31 pts 11 brd 3 blds shooting 50%, with lateral movement and quickness to play 4 or 5...Are you still thinking about it??

To be exact, he's 2 1/2 years older. He turns 24 in march. The player you are describing, no doubt i take him over KP. The problem is the games missed. He has never even played 70 games in a season. The nagging injuries make him a gamble going forward. If you have a player who misses 25% of the year every year or more, how does that adjust their value? Most players don't get less injury-prone with age, they get more injury-prone. Again, just talking about him as a player, you take him 10 times out of 10. But there's much more that goes into it that makes it less appealing.

Would be very surprised if they bail on Thompson this season. Doubt they want to admit so quickly that Durant is causing chemistry problems.

Hard for a rhythm shooter like Thompson when you have both Curry and Durant on your team because I also see them as players who need to get into a groove to be effective shooters. Hard to have 3 players like this on the floor at once.

Was not a Harrison Barnes fan, but he seems to have benefited from his change of scenery, but what I can see statistically. His 3pt % has decreased, but I expect that is because he has a greater role in his offense and can't just hang around the perimeter for a pass from the stars he played with at GS.

I'm sure Klay would rather be the #1 or #2 gun on his team, and not be in the position he is in now.

Not sure we would have enough to get him in a trade, though, if he is all the other teams in the league are competing with us.

no hes not. brian scalabrini admitted that he made up this rumor (of klay to boston) without any real legit sources. he said he got the idea from some guy on twitter named justin bautista...who also predicts for WWIII to start in dec 2016
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I was thinking down the same road. When the playoffs come, is that GS team, as constructed, going to win it all?
They can and we will have to see how they evolve this year, but I think they are missing more of that physical component, outside Green...

Why would we mess with what we have in Kp for a dude who always has annoying wee injuries. What on earth is wrong with Kristaps? He has started this season with a hiss and a roar, Dirk wants to train him and he seems to enjoy Ny. So let's just leave that one alone imo, tempting but really solidifies as a team who wants to constantly win now instead of waiting on what we have.

yeah let's give up a cornerstone top5 young player for a guy who in his 4 seasons has never played more than 68 games.
