Wow, do you honestly believe that?? I couldn't disagree with you more, all due respect. Outside of a few slick plays here and there, he's looked like garbage right from the first preseason game. HOT GARBAGE. And I see he's got a little attitude out there to boot which I don't care for at all--bitchin' about every call to the refs, shrugging his shoulders/terrible body language when someone like NDour can't handle one of his crazy passes, getting into it with players on these other teams (Casper Ware, Beno Udrih---WTF? Why??), getting into it with Mike D'Antoni after the game the other night (WTF was that about??). I mean can you imagine him coming down court with the firepower/vet presence of our starting unit and launching a bad shot 3 the way he does? How'd that fly?? Bad enough he plays like that on the 2nd unit.. I'm just not a fan AT ALL. Never have been. Even more so now that I'm seeing him up close. Prove me wrong, Brandon!! I'd love to be proven wrong here but as of right now, I'd don't see it with this guy at all. Unless he can turn it and start playing a better brand of basketball w/o the nonsense, he's one guy I'm already thinking is gone for next year.
no problem. i totally get where you're coming from and i agree, but with one qualification-- jennings for all his faults is a better ball sharer and has better chemistry with kp6. rose and melo out there together are simply horrible, like tag team selfishness taking turns going one on three. and that selfishness is the hub of the knicks failure to gel. yes it's only four games but it's just not going to get any better.
i really don't see how so many could not see this coming but there you go.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
