enjoy some of the flashes of greatness from rose,melo,KP,noah and even jennings but this team still has to come together in so many ways hopefully this team can float around 500 till the all star break and make a real run in the right direction after that...

right now everyone should chill out and enjoy the flashes, this is a really good team.

One big difference. Melo talks a good game about D etc but I think Rose and Noah really mean it

They have an extra fire in the belly and I think help dilute Melo

The main issue isn't a lack of talent but a lack of chemistry, cohesion and execution on both ends. They simply don't know each other well enough nor what they should be doing. That is something you can actually fix with hard work, whereas having no talent is a much tougher problem. You can see we have talent, so they have to keep working to come together.

I look forward and hope to see major adjustments, but there is no excuses or any glossing over... this has been a dismal start. The only positives are guys are not hurt.

no problem. i totally get where you're coming from and i agree, but with one qualification-- jennings for all his faults is a better ball sharer and has better chemistry with kp6. rose and melo out there together are simply horrible, like tag team selfishness taking turns going one on three. and that selfishness is the hub of the knicks failure to gel. yes it's only four games but it's just not going to get any better.

i really don't see how so many could not see this coming but there you go.

There are quite a few adjustments I'd like to see from Jeff/Phil but the players themselves need to start playing harder & more inspired out there. There's no question about that.

I agree, there's a lot the players can do as well. I would really like to see what would happen if Hornacek had complete control of the offense. He had Phoenix going toe to toe with the best teams in the west, in a very stacked western conference. Wouldn't have to worry about defending against non-existent offenses in practice. Its a bad look.

Agreed. I mean for Lee to come out and question why they're practicing D against the triangle when it's not what they're seeing in games, for Rose to come out and criticize the triangle after game 1 -- what more do you need to know that there's a problem there, that there is in fact something to it? But then flip side -- WTF, Courtney? Start playing better! Can't have you just sleepwalking through games out there, my man.

Even if the players were doing their part, preparing for situations that will most likely not appear in a game, looks bad. Game 1 or game 82.
