If defense is all about effort. If defense is the only thing you can control on the court. Then how can we excuse being the worst defensive team in the league after 4 games? You can't blame the triangle on our bad defense. You can't blame a new coach on our bad defense. You can't blame having a new team on our bad defense. Defense is about effort and commitment. You have to want to defend. You have to take pride in stopping the other team from scoring. I'm less concerned about our 1-3 start; I'm less concerned about KP not getting enough touches; I'm less concerned about team cohesion on offense. What I am concerned about is the lack of desire to play any defense from a new team that's supposed to be hungry. Now that's inexcusable.
