this is the player from Providence who played Emeka Okafor so well and played great in the summer leagues. He's 6-10 1/2-- built like theo Ratliff and averaged 3.5 blocks in the Big east last year. he's smooth with the ball and can shoot it. we need to take low level shots like this. since the lakers got mihm, it doesnt appear like there will be a roster spot for the 2nd rounder.

Why do you think they got Mihm? Douthit has to go to court for something, I think fraud. He is probably going to be out for the whole year if he goes to jail.

I was wondering about Douthit too, but it sounds like even if they don't sign him, the Lakers have his rights until next years draft (how long do you hold the rights on a player you drafted in the second round if he's a US player?).

that's over. he's already applied for and received accelerated rehabiliation. i would definitely give him a solid 1 -2 yr shot, he has a lot of potential

if another team is willing to pay him, the lakers would be forced to sign or waive him.

knicks need to find some diamonds in the rough. we cant have a roster full of players making 5-13mm each. the guy played very well in the bE played even better in the SL measured out at 6-11 225 with a 7-4 wingspan and is already 24. give him 375,000 for the year the lakers are full with 15 roster spots
