knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Well obviously you meant tonight since it's the only game we played but i'm just shocked that people are acting like they weren't expecting growing pains. Hornacek has no idea what he has right now and who will play well together in real games so people better get some patience.

I have plenty of patience. If you read my posts earlier in the thread you would see I'm very pumped for this team.

Did you see that burst by Rose on the fast break and finish?!? That was the vintage DRose pre-injury. Great sign for us!

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

When we get some games in and guys understand their roles we're gonna be a good team but coming out against the best team in the league that plays great defense and have soooo many guys that can hit the 3 ball is gonna be a tough one.

What do we have, something like 11 turnovers at this point...not hard to tell what the difference is in this game. Obviously, gotta clean that up ASAP.

Knicks seem to think there's some magic formula for getting open
shots: fast break, slashing to basket, brilliant passes, etc.

This is all delusional.

There's no such magic.

You have to work hard and be disciplined for open shots.

Learn the damn Triangle, guys . . .

Rose is a one man fast break, Calderon was the NBAs #1 break stopper on offense last year. I'm loving this.

Agreed. Not making any excuses, but they are the defending world champs playing at home and have played together for a long time. We have a brand new team; it's going to take some time to gel. But the upgrade in talent is undeniable.

Yep, it's gonna be tough for us to watch certain games but in time we should be fine.
