Okay, follow me on this.

Derrick Rose and his apologists are arguing that it doesn't make any
difference that he doesn't know the Triangle because the new Hornacek
offense will be up-tempo and they will only use the Triangle on "out
of bounds plays".

But of course, 50% of each game is made up of such "out of bounds plays".

So the fact is that Rose and the Knicks will be incompetent in the Triangle
50% of each game.

But okay . . . let it not be said that Malcolm is all negative.

I hereby propose a change to NBA rules to help the Knicks out.

Thus: unlimited time outs (!)

So . . . at every out of bounds play the Knicks can substitute in Vujacic or
Baker for Rose to run the Triangle (!)

Rose knows 1/3 system but was accused in forcing it.
Obviously as he does not know triangle he was declared not guilty.
And to help the Knicks NBA should remove "Do not give Melo a foul because he so strong" rule.

You can also look at it like 50% of the time the triangle works every time. Which would be true since they ate only running it on inbounds plays which is half the plays in the nba according to your logic

I'm not sure what the fascination is with the Triangle. Especially with Hornachek. He has different aspects to his game plan such as speeding up the ball to get early shots and more screen and rolls.

What I'm concerned about is the Defense and how healthy Noah can stay. Triangle knowledge is low on my concern list.
