Getting KP last year was awesome but this years off-season has made me down right giddy. I guess you can say that Willy the Kid was from last year but I want to include him to this years batch.

1. Willy The Kid. Uncle Phil just found us a running mate for KP for the next 8 years. I was expecting the High BBall IQ similar to KP but I was not expecting the wonderful feet and hands. This young man is going to be an All-Star. I was comparing him to Tiago before but I think I was short changing him. He now looks like a shorter Marc Gasol. Maybe he can grow another inch and get to 7'.

2. Courtney Lee. He is what the doctor has ordered for this team. His perimeter defense is off the charts. Now we have two premiere defensive players in Lance and Courtney. He should be finding his 3pt range soon enough.

3. Cheese. Man...What a find!! This guy is a non stop fill the books kinda player. He reminds me a lot of Scottie Pippen.

4. Plumlee. I thought this man was going to be training camp fodder but he looks like Dr. Crash 2.0. I love it.

5. N'Dour. Really excited about this pickup. A little worried about losing him with the numbers game but this man can play. He is another high IQ non stop type player. He is like a taller Corey Brewer.

6. Noah. I never liked him. I thought he was one of those "Look at me, Look at me" type people. Wasn't too thrilled when we got him. Watching him in the last game has made me a fan. He is an intangibles type of guy with a high skill level.

7. Rose. He looked better than I thought. This is a low risk REALLY high reward type get. The 1 year contract is really important.

8. Jennings. ActionJackson said it best. He reminds me a lot of Mark Jackson. A faster and leaner Mark Jackson. If he does the helicopter after a layup I will be falling off my seat.

9. Ron Baker. Wow! What a find. People were comparing him to Hornacek but I think he reminds me a lot of Craig Ehlo. He just has this basketball pressence.

10. Randle. I am not as high as others for Chasson....but you can't have enough shooters.

11. Holiday. I was expecting more. Baker has jumped over him on my book.

I love it!! Now if we can get rid of KOQ then this off-season is going to be an A+. Right now I give it an A.

Go KNICKS!!

Hope Phil doesn't cut rooks who are showing something in favor of vets who have shown little.

Good post and nice analogy for Baker. I think he has shown a lot of presence and seems to be picking things up real quickly. He may be the guy who plays better and better if he's surrounded by better players.

there will be some tough decisions ahead
