KNICKS SIGN DAMIEN INGLIS

NEW YORK, October 11, 2016 – New York Knickerbockers President Phil Jackson announced today that the team has signed forward Damien Inglis. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Inglis, 6-8, 245-pounds, was originally selected by Milwaukee in the second round (31st overall) in the 2014 NBA Draft after playing professional in France. He appeared in 20 games for the Bucks last season to average 1.8 points and 7.8 minutes after missing the entire 2014-15 season due to injury. On D-League assignment twice, Inglis averaged 10.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.31 steals over 21.4 minutes in 16 games for both the Canton Charge and Westchester Knicks.

The Cayenne, French Guiana-native appeared in four games for the New Orleans Pelicans’ entry in the 2016 NBA Summer League to average 4.0 points and 3.2 rebounds.

Yea the last was a little campy, and Sam Neill ALWAYS plays these guys! I loved them all. Classics, but the two def qualify as good movies. Ironically I am on my 2nd Rottie... my first lived 12 years

About to get my first dog, a german shepard pup. Lived in rental apts for most of my life, wanted to wait until I had a place of my own with some room. Getting an estimate on putting a fence in the backyard so the dog has somewhere to play. Not looking forward to some of the stuff that goes with raising a puppy, but its still going to be fun. Always wanted a dog.

Gustav, most of my friends with dogs have gotten the underground "invisible" electric fence and say it's great. Depending on the size of your property, it shouldn't cost much more than $1500-$200 installed, with initial dog training included.

Appreciate the tip Moonangie. I live in a rural area in the hills, and need a fence to keep out the coyotes, and once in a while bears. Mostly deer come through the back yard, fun to watch.

yea... mixed on the electric fence. I knew a Rottie that simply ran through it, then would hang out at the neighbors because he didn't want to get shocked the 2nd time lol.

I am an odd mix of rural and suburbs. My house backs up to the Watchung Reservation in NJ so I have essentially forest behind me. Its lovely and I walk back there with my dog(s) winter spring summer and fall. Puppies are cute, but a total PITA. I am not the biggest fan but the time whips by and the work is worth it. Especially with a GSD... like a rottie there is extra responsibility with that breed, but also extra rewards as well. I put a lot of work early on into my dogs and it always pays. I live in Washington state south of Seattle. My property is on a hill, very rural. But as you go down the hill it becomes semi rural, and eventually suburban by the time you get to I-5. Lots of big box stores there if I need anything. Nice mix of country and the burbs and Im in reasonable driving distance of Seattle and Portland. Only thing they dont have I really miss is NY/NJ style pizza. They had some good ones in fla, but not anywhere near here. Found a 1000 degree pizza size oven on Amazon you can hook up at home to a propane tank, going to try to teach myself.

This lifelong city boy is actually getting his first pick up truck this weekend. Never thought I would need one, but my crossover isnt up for the tough stuff. Thinking of raising chickens as well, one of my neighbors offered to teach me how its done. Times have changed!

I grew up with little poodles because my mom was allergic, so I always wanted a big dog. Between that and Damien the rotties were a fit lol

100%!!! If it wasn't for poodles I would not have grown up with a dog. As it turns out my mother still keeps them, and as she travels a lot I watch her dog(s) when shes away. She currently has a little reddish brown ****apoo. Its quite a site seeing the little brown one flying out of the woods followed by a rottie sometimes mistaken for a black bear

As a quick aside, I shared Bucky's story to encourage anyone here who might be considering getting a dog to adopt!! Having a dog is a rewarding experience no matter how you get one. But Bucky was 7 when we adopted him and if we didn't he probably gets put down... [/civicdutyfortheday]
